Team Around the Community

MYDG is hosting a Community Coordinator post for north Edinburgh, working on a project called Team Around the Community. Funded by City of Edinburgh Council, in partnership with R2, the role coordinates council, health, justice and voluntary sector services, providing early intervention support to local people when and how it’s needed.

We plan to facilitate timely and impactful help to families at an early stage of emerging risk of poverty and related concerns. This is to prevent difficulties from becoming complex and entrenched, harder to remedy and more resource intensive.

We’re delighted to have welcomed Nichola McFall to the role in May 2026 who brings a wealth of experience to draw on.
